Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.
The robot is simple to setup and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished as needed. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of moving the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
cheap robot vacuum is smart, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. But, you'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris but they can't reach every bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power to take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
